12 Mangrove Restoration Projects (Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh)

Mangroves are vital for climate resilience, storing carbon and protecting coastlines from storms and erosion. They support diverse marine life and provide food and income for coastal communities. Mangroves also filter water and adapt to rising sea levels, making their conservation essential for a healthy and sustainable future

Agroforestry and carbon credit projects  have improved the livelihoods of over 15000 farmers in Pan India

Agroforestry carbon credit projects offer climate benefits by capturing carbon in trees and soil. They support farmers with extra income, improve biodiversity, and restore degraded land. As carbon markets grow, these projects gain value. Advances in technology ensure transparent carbon tracking, making agroforestry a key solution for sustainable development and climate action.

Freshwater lake restoration is vital for climate resilience, biodiversity, and clean water supply. Restored lakes improve water quality, support wildlife, recharge groundwater, and reduce flood risks. As climate change intensifies, these projects will play a key role in sustaining ecosystems, enhancing local livelihoods, and ensuring long-term freshwater security for communities.

We're collaborating with esteemed institutions like Dr. MGR Fisheries University, Women’s Christian College and C. Abdul Hakkim Art & Science college for date collection and research work. The research into various wetlands and species is crucial for understanding and enhancing biodiversity. Identifying over 120 different species in a short time shows the rich ecological potential of the area. This knowledge will undoubtedly be invaluable for future conservation efforts and can also provide insights into sustainable practices. And we involved various experts - Dr. Aswathy Rajan, Dr. Govindan, Dr. Ganesh, Kalinga Foundation for different studies.
